Remote big-wall climbing
This photo was taken at the world famous Tiger Beach in West End, in the
Bahamas. Tiger Beach is known for its local population of tiger sharks, as well
as Caribbean reef sharks, and lemon sharks. Florida-based photographer James
Ferrara says he was “fortunate enough to have one of [his] 昀椀rst experiences with
underwater photography at Tiger Beach.” Growing up, he was in fear of sharks
as a diver, and this location helped him form a respect and love for them that he
still carries with him today.
