CIVET WATCH As Gorongosa reintroduces
top predators, scientists are interested in how
the mostly nocturnal African civet, about the
size of a housecat, will fare among large cats.
The park’s recovery allows a rare opportunity
to study on a detailed level how an ecosystem
returns from a collapse.
