Orangutans are long-haired primates that are found only
on the islands of Sumatra and Borneo in Southeast Asia.
They are our close relatives and spend around 90% of their
time in the trees of the tropical rainforests where they live.
Orangutans are critically endangered as a result of deforestation, habitat loss and hunting.
